The Pumpkin Patch

Didn't really get a good one of everyone looking the same way :-)

Daddy and Kater attended a Halloween party at a friend's house- Sid was having some asthma trouble so he, Maddy, and I stayed home :-(

While they were gone, Sid and I carved a pumpkin together...

Madelyn starts Rice Cereal...Squash...

Madelyn started rice cereal when she was about 5 1/2 months old.  I tried to wait it out as long as possible, but she started sucking down that milk and seemed to never be satisfied so I knew it was time.  She is by far the messiest eater in Parsons house yet.  She questioned the texture early on and them quickly adapted and swallowed everything she could keep in her mouth.  :-)

Tried to get Big Brother, Sid, to help...

He just wanted to be a silly goose instead- unlike, Kate who helped me feed him his rice cereal when he was Maddy's age.  I guess that is the difference between girls and boys...

She is chewing on everything!

Next will be carrots and sweet potatoes, then green veggies, and on to fruit!!!

A Trip To Kansas

We went to Kansas to visit friends the first weekend in October.  Madelyn came with us and Kate and Sid stayed in OKC with Nana and Papaw.  It was so fun to see our friends- we miss you all so much!  We enjoyed introducing Maddy to them as well.  Here are a few pics...

We had a great time catching up with friends- thanks, Duncan's for having us and planning the girl's night!  It was a blast!  If I get a pic from that I will post it...

Nana did not miss the opportunity to rock Madelyn to sleep.  :-)  Daddy read to the kiddos in their room...  Thanks, Nana and Papaw for having them.  The circus and all of the fun activities were a hit with the kiddos!!!
