We had a wonderful time this Christmas with our family. We were off to a rocky start on the trip, because Kate was suffering from a stomach virus. So, in some pictures she just looks tired. Although, it does not take much to get little kiddos excited even when they are not feeling well. I told Justin probably 10 times, that I was finished traveling until the baby comes- I am just getting too big and uncomfortable :-)
Kate opened 1 gift before we left for our trip...
Kater thought stockings were to be worn...
We went to OKC first and celebrating Christmas with the Parsons....
We had a wonderful Christmas Dinner...and Nana had a birthday cake for Baby Jesus!
Kate blew out the candles and tasted the cake too!
Uncle Jared gave Kate a cool rolling pin and pastry mat...I know she will get a lot of use out of those items!
Nana and Papaw gave Kater a cheerleading outfit and a cheerleader doll with a Texas accent. So cute- it did not take her long to figure out what she should do with it all.

Her first pony tail!

Jared gave Grandma a Universal Remote Control...
Kater got a trike that she rode at every house we visited after OKC...
Bill was excited to receive a big tool chest so that he could organize all of his tools!
Kater also got a kitchen!!! Hooray! We had a time hauling all of these great gifts back to Kansas in Justin's Camry.
Next we drove to Ft. Worth to celebrate with the Wood family and Hardesty family...
We had barbecue with the Wood clan- Here is Jackson enjoying some of Aunt Marta and Uncle Greg's chocolate sauce over vanilla ice cream. Yum! He is just like is great grandfather, Popse- he titled his bowl back for every last drop too. :-)
We had our traditional Christmas Eve dinner at Bode and Emily's home. Kate had a great time with Poppy and Bode and all of the great toys they have.
Kate and I picked out a good cookie for Santa-
Daddy and Kate explore what Santa brought such a good little girl...
We enjoyed our traditional Christmas lunch at Aunt Bost's house...It was delicious as usual!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year at home in Kansas. My sister, Emily, brother in law, Chris, and nephew, Jackson came to Kansas for the first time! Gigi and Poppy came as well. We had such a great time! Poppy cooked Thanksgiving dinner and we played and visited. It snowed, so Jax really enjoyed going outside too. We hope they will all be back soon!
Dinner the first night of their visit...
Poppy and Kater!

Don't worry, I am toasting with cider :-)
Everyone is working hard in the kitchen!
Emily and I being silly with the Black Forest Cake and Gravy...
Our friends, the Eppersons, joined us for Thanksgiving dinner. Kate loves playing with her friend, Meira!
Gigi and Kate had a great time snuggling in Mommy and Daddy's bed...
