Kate has been battling her first cold for about a week now... We are learning how to use baby "Vicks" vapor rub, a humidifier, nasal irrigation, Vaseline on the nose, "Tylenol" cold and cough, etc. What to do?!
This cold is not slowing her down, though! She enjoyed spending the day running around with Nana and Papaw on Saturday while Justin worked and I had a "Girl's Day Out" with friends from college.

Kate started fruit with lunch this weekend and is a fast fan of apple sauce!
She is also saying "Mom Mom" and "Mama"- I am interpreting these words as though she knows what she is saying and that it is not just coincidence. Of course, Justin is making her repeat "Dada" every chance he gets.

On Friday, November 17th, Mom and Dad Hardesty adopted Sofi Denalie, a Cavapoo, from a great mommy "Winnie", a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and "Yankee," a miniature red Poodle in Miami, OK.
Here is Winnie,

Here is Sofi as baby...

She is now 17 weeks old and is loving her new family. She is very laid back and follows Dad around everywhere. She and Cabby met on Saturday and are already great friends. (Well, they really could care less what the other was doing...it is a good friendship in our book )
Kate and Mommy went with them to visit the hounds. Kate loved all of the puppies!

Here is a link to our Weblog that Matt Vincent set up showing the progress on our new house in Lawrence.
We added some additional "Before" photos on the photo page that are not highlighted on Matt's site.

This is our first entry into the Parsons Family Weblog! We have friends that use this site and thought with our upcoming move that this would be a great place to journal family life. Especially for the grandparents, who I know will be missing Kate. We will be missing them too!!!!
