On Thursday, February 21st, my doctor called me to tell me that she would like to induce me into labor the next morning! I called family and quickly found care for Kate. My cousin (doula), Jill, flew in that evening and she, Justin, and I arrived at the hospital at 7:30AM on Friday, February 22nd (2 weeks early). Sidney Alexander arrived at 1:29PM. He was 6lbs, 14 oz.s and 19 inches long. Here are some pictures from labor and delivery.

 

Justin eating pie...he loved the cafeteria food. Needless to say this labor was pretty laid back...

We were sooo glad that Aunt Jill, "Dolly," was there to help with labor and welcome Sidney to the world.

The girls + 2 boys now! enjoyed snuggling on the bed together lots the first week...

Thanks to all of the friends and family that came to visit us and provide us with lots of yummy food! I know that I did not get many of you on camera, but we sure cherish your visits.
