I just went in to get Kate and this is what I found... I would have posted more, but I didn't think they may be appropriate for public viewing...She kept giving me her blanket saying, "I poopoo"- Although, it was dry everywhere so I don't think she actually went to the bathroom- it seems she was just ready for a new diaper. There was lots of giggling from both of us- I tried to sternly tell her that this was unacceptable, but come on- how funny! Ha!!!

Justin thought we needed to document Kate's big girl eating. She has been doing it for a couple of months now and is improving every day. We are becoming more brave with allowing her to eat more things by herself. She sees her plate and pushes up her sleeves to let us know that she would like to feed herself. She must have picked up on that routine, because we push up her sleeves if we let her go at it with chili or applesauce, etc. I put a towel in her lap to catch any fly aways that don't make it to her mouth. Although, she is pretty good about keeping her napkin in her lap and wiping her face every so often. - our sweet, little miss manners :-)
Here she is dining last night at the table...
She has a little cottage cheese on her left nostril...no boogers :-)

Uncle Jared spent the night on Friday night with us after a long business trip that brought him to Kansas. Kate had such a good time with him. I'm not sure if it was how nicely he was dressed or if she thought he was just a good time. They read and played. In fact, she cried when he left...I know she is looking forward to spending more time with him when we move to Texas next year.
Here they are reading in Baby Brother's room...

Justin has picked up swimming, along with his usual running/weights work out routine. He seems to be interested in adding biking as well this summer. He swam at the Lawrence Aquatic Center quite a bit in the evenings over the past 2 weeks. Kate and I went to watch. I think a Daddy/Daughter swim class may be in their future.
