Let's go Swimming!!!! Here Kate is getting ready in the Girls Locker Room at the Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center. It is very close to our house... we went with a group of ladies from our MOPs (Mothers of Preschoolers) group.
Kate played while mommy was getting ready. This is the only time we used her new float, because the pool was 0 depth as you can see below. OK- I normally would not post a pic of me in a swim suit, but it was the only way we could get a pic of Kate in the pool.
Sports Illustrated, here we come! Ha!
She was pretty timid in the water. She did not cry, but would not leave my lap. I did put her on a floating, plastic hippo for a couple of seconds and she did not seem to mind that. I think our next trip she will feel a little more comfortable and start splashing and kicking in the water. As for now, it was sweet that she wanted to be close :-)

Kate received her 1st request to be someone's Valentine this week. The card came accompanied by a cute stuffed animal and chocolates- who could resist!
Her sweet Uncle Jared is Kate's Valetine this year :-) Here she is enjoying her new toy.
