Every week Kate seems to be growing quickly into an intelligent little girl. She surprises us often. This morning she was blowing kisses to me after I was blowing them toward her. I'm not sure if she will do it again, but it sure was cute!

I have a feeling as time goes on I will have many more pictures to post. I had a hard time figuring out which ones to post for this entry. Each little thing she did today just fascinated me- From a baby that could barely roll over to all of this thoughtful activity. How does she figure these things out?

Her two favorite things this week are a bear that sings a song by The Carpenters given to her by Uncle Jared and a lift the flap book called Where Does Maisy Live? She has been into flap books for about a month now. She loves to lift it up and giggle. There is a dog house in the Maisy book and when she lifts it she points to it and says "dog."

Here are few pictures of Kate playing in the office, aka. The Playroom.

Kate has special areas in the playroom/office that are hers to play with- there is a lot in here that is off limits :-) Here she is putting her bear in her drawer...

Hmmm....maybe not, I'll take him around a little more.

OK, I'm getting tired...(that bear is about as big as she is!)

Kate has been testing out Sippy Cups for quite a few months now. Our cup cabinet has turned into a storage house for a glorified Sippy Cup experiment. She has finally taken to a transitional sippy cup!!! We will be working toward the traditional sippy cups in the coming weeks. But for now, we are so thrilled she is not a bottle-holic and no longer a Sippy Cup snob!

Here she is chugging away...

Kate started walking the week of April 23rd and this week is really taking off! I can't believe that our little baby is growing into an active toddler so quickly! Here is she is in action...
